Vera Andrea Longo is a professional violinist and singer based in New York City. As a music performer has collaborated with composers, actors, poets, writers, directors, chamber music ensembles, orchestras, bands, and workshops. Ambassador of collaborative and creative exploration of the power of music to improve health and psychophysical well-being, in her performances she paints a musical journey to discover her artistic sensibility where her delicate and powerful voice blends with the passionate sound of his violin, ukulele, or piano. She is a violin, music, and special education teacher with years of experience. Through her commitment to excellence in music education, the teacher has fostered a dynamic and enriching learning environment, leaving an indelible mark on the school community and beyond.

Music performance
Chamber Music/ Orchestra/ Band/ Workshops
Solo performances or with various music groups, interactive musical experiences for all ages, where creativity, improvisation, and connection are at the heart of it all. Collaborative and creative exploration of the power of music to improve health and psychophysical well-being.
Teaching
Music course
Teaching and developing children's and adult’s productions encompassing a wide knowledge of different resources with comprehension about World Music and music education. Music program including singing, movement, playing instruments and theory, with students engaged in producing as active music as possible; rhythm and pitch notation, solfege reading and singing, improvisation and composition. Using a variety of teaching strategies to personalize learning to maximize student motivation by always encouraging, adapting lessons and resources to meet the needs of students who are very capable/ have special educational needs.
Violin course
An exciting journey to the discovery of the violin, an exceptional instrument, a "voice", capable as the human voice, to express intensely the most different mood. The violin as an extension of our body, as a joy to be able to express ourselves, interpreting a score felt internally and played with the body, heart and head.
